Armbanduhr für Minentaucher in besonders antimagnetischer Ausführung Versorgungs-Nr. 6645-12-199-5530, gemäß STANAG, Werk: Ankerwerk mit Rotor-Selbstaufzug, Laufzeit: 40 h, Anzahl der Steine: 22, max. Gangabweichung: +8/-0 Sekunden, max. Druck: 200 bar, Gehäuse aus Titan, Saphirglas, Einführungsjahr: 1984, Gewicht: 0,57 N.

Es gab drei verschiedene Mechanismen des Bandanschlusses.
Die zivile Variante der IWC Ocean 2000 unterscheidet sich im gewölbten Saphirglas, in der nicht schwarzen Lunette und in den Zeigern vom militärischen Original.

Verwendung:
Die Bundeswehr hat Entwicklungsaufträge für Spezialuhren an die Industrie vergeben wie z. B. die IWC Kampfschwimmeruhr aus Titan mit der bei 2000 m Wassertiefe garantierten Dichtheit. Diese Uhr wird weiterhin aus einem Abrufauftrag von VDO, der Mutter von IWC und Jaeger Le Coultre innerhalb des Mannesmann-Konzerns sowohl mit Quarzwerk (Cal. 2250) als auch mit mechanischem Werk (Cal. 375) an die Bundesmarine geliefert.
Der Einsatz bestimmt sich nach dem Anspruch an den Antimagnetismus: Die Ausführungen mit Cal. 2250 Quarz, Vers. Nr. 6645-12-199-5644 und -5070. Die Kaliber 375R sind für Kampfschwimmer, Cal. 375M für den allgemeinen Tauchdienst und das Cal. 3755 Amag für Minentaucher (Vers.-Nr. 6645-12-199-5530 und -3503), die eine extrem antimagnetische Uhr benötigen. Der Magnetismus der Schrittmotoren eines Quarzwerkes verbietet den Einsatz beim Minensuchen, der Zündmechanismus könnte ansprechen.

This watch is different to the civil version by: Rotating bezel in black, minute hand in red and the sphirre glas is flat.)

Specifications:
The Bundeswehr made several special development orders to the industry for special watches like the wrist watcvhes for the combat swimmers with special pressure resistance and antimagnetic specifications like this IWC Ocean 2000, the last item tells the garanteed water titghtness of 2000 m. The watch is still ordered from VDO, the corporate mother of IWC, Jaeger Le Coultre and Lange & Soehne with the Mannesmann trust. It is also delivered with quarz (Cal. 2250) and mecanical movement (Cal. 375).
The use is primaryly defined by the need of antimagnetism. The items with Cal. 2250 Quarz, Vers. Nr. 6645-12-199-5644 and -5070 and Cal. 375R are for combat swimmers, Cal. 375M for common dive operations and Cal. 3755 Amag for minedivers (Vers.-Nr. 6645-12-199-5530 und -3503), who are dependent on extreme antimagnetic equipment. The magnetsm of the stepping motors of the quarz movement may trigger the contact mechanism of mines.
