Beschreibung:
Frühe Flugzeugborduhren der Luftwaffe: 
- Anforderungs-Nr. Fl. 22601, Luftfahrtgeräte-Hersteller Askania in Berlin-Friedenau, Typ W 233160 Aufzug unten und W 310532 Aufzug vorn und Heizung,  Omega 8-Tage Borduhr, Nr. 6705926, Cal. 59 D8 mit 7 oder 16 Steinen, zwei Federhäusern.

Fl. 22601, Werk Omega Nr. 592721, vom 9.9.1936, Auftzug über Krone, Stellen aus der Mitte.

Einsatz:
Flugzeug-Bord- und Einbau-Uhren
Dies sind Uhren, die fest im Instrumentenbrett, im Steuerknüppel, am Platz des Navigators oder dem des Funkers eingebaut wurden. Während vor 1939 bei der Luftwaffe die Uhren mit 8-Tage-Werk von Junghans, Fl. 22600, Kienzle, Fl. 22602, aber auch Uhren von Askania (Fl. 22601, k von Omega) gebräuchlich waren, wurde seit Kriegsbeginn das Typenprogramm bereinigt. Der Entwurf L. Dv. 253 von 1939 sah dann auch nur noch drei Uhrenmodelle vor, die für fliegerische, navigatorische und funktechnische Aufgaben geeignet waren.

Application:
Aircraft Panel and Instrument Clocks
These are clocks built into instrument panels, controls, navigators’ or radio-operators’ stations. 
In 1939, the Luftwaffe was using clocks with the 8-day movement from Junghans Fl. 22600, Kienzle Fl. 22602 as well as clocks from Askania (Fl. 22601, with Omega movement). 

From the start of the war onwards the range of clocks used was decreased. The 1939 draft of L. Dv. 253 listed only three clock models: those that were suitable for aviation, navigation and communication duties.
